The Whitehorse Curling Club is a busy active club for six months of the year. The ice plant is started up at the end of September and the process begins of making ice for another season. Once our curling comes to a close at the end of March, the facility is used during the summer months for a number of events. Our Club is managed by a member elected board of directors with the day to day operations carried out by the club manager Sandy Miller.
We host regular league draws weekly for men’s, ladies open and super league. We also have a Junior league that runs on Saturday mornings.
The Whitehorse Curling Club is in its 63rd season of curling. The Club has successfully hosted a number of national events in the past the 1990 National Seniors, the 2006 National Mixed, the 2007 Canada Winter Games, and various Police, Post office and Deaf nationals.
The Club concession will be open most of the day offering light meals at very reasonable prices to players and friends.
